The Valley of Adventure offers a wide variety of camping opportunities in all price ranges and types of facilities. There are four service providers who offer the following experiences:
Operating in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park
Offers over 600 un-serviced sites in eight drive-in campground facilities, plus two group camping facilities for larger private groups. Site mix varies from large pull-thru sites to walk-in tenting sites. Reservations are accepted only at the Boulton Creek campground, with the remaining campgrounds offering first come first serve availability. The Boulton Creek campground has a restaurant and grocery store located at the entrance to the campground. Shower houses are located within the Elkwood and Boulton Creek campgrounds. Live interpretive amphitheatre programs are presented Wednesday thru Sunday evenings in July and August at both the Boulton Creek and Elkwood campgrounds.
Four separate facilities are offered for walk-in back country tenting. Walk-in will vary from 1 - 4 hours, depending upon location chosen. Primitive camping facilities are offered; with food storage lockers, toilets and firewood available at most facilities.
